‘Countering the Cognitive, Linguistic, and Psychological Underpinnings Behind Susceptibility to Fake News: A Review of Current Literature With Special Focus on the Role of Age and Digital Literacy’

Published an article on concerns about susceptibility to fake news, with a focus on psychological mechanisms and digital practices. We conducted a meta-analysis, showing that most current literature does not differentiate between age groups, despite significant meta-cognitive differences between cohorts. Our article provides insights into why people circulate erroneous claims.
